Pritam Sarkar

Pritam is from Nadia district of West Bengal state of India.  

Pritam is a self-taught artist and from his childhood he feels a deep attraction for Bengal Folk painting.  

Pritam is now trying to create a fusion of Bengal Folk art, and he choose Indian Mythology as a subject of his work. In his work he basically uses three primary colours and always a black outline on motifs.  

 Pritam started his journey for solo exhibition at his hometown Nabadwip.  Then he participated in some other group exhibitions like Kajrai group art exhibition at Birla academy of fine art, Kolkata, Ridhhi Sidhhi art exhibition at Rabindratirtha art gallery, Kolkata etc.
