I am in Arts to gain self-esteem and achieve self-realization by exploring myself through art.
Art is “संजीवनी” for me.
Sumitra Sumit is a Professional Artist from Delhi the Capital City of India.
Sumitra is having 5 years Diploma in Fine Art from Govt school of art Aurangabad Maharashtra. In 1980 and Fellowship holder at the same Govt. School of Art Aurangabad (for one year).
Sumitra worked at Delhi Doordarshan Kendra & Upgrah Doordarshan Kendra (UDK) and Mandi House as a Graphic Artist and Worked at NCERT Delhi and SCERT Delhi (Freelance Artist) as books.
Illustrator and at Frank Brother publications at Noida (Freelance Artist) as a book illustrator.
Sumitra likes to do sketches/drawings, Portrait painting. Figurative work, still life and for that she works in pen-pencil, charcoal, acrylic, watercolor, and oil color medium.
Sumitra participated in many solo and group exhibitions at national and international levels and awarded and recognized in most of them.
