Amita is from Gwalior city of Madhya Pradesh state of India. Amita is known as “Meet Banarasi “in Literature & Music field.

Amita is born & brought up in the holy city Varanasi in Uttar Pradesh. Amita did graduation in Psychology Honors and master’s in social work from Banaras Hindu University.

Amita is writer & semi classical singer other than a Passionist artist.

Amita work as an anchor on Madhya Pradesh Doordarshan (A State TV network) and as a writer she writes Hindi poetries, Ghazals & Short stories. Till now two books have been published by Amita and she has been honored with many prestigious awards in Literature field.

In Semi Classical Singing, Amita started his career grooming under the fatherly patronage of legendry music maestro Padam Vibhushan Dr. Pt. Chhannulal Mishra ji.

In Art field Amita privileged to be a disciple of Padamshri Shri Tilak Gitai ji.
Amita participated in many State & National level art exhibitions and got accolades from state & national level authorities. Amita is also an accredited Mithila (Madhubani) artisan from Ministry of Textiles, Govt. of India.

Amita’s artwork was specifically appreciated in International Tansen Music and Art Festival held by Culture department, Govt. of Madhya Pradesh in January 2021.

As per Amita
My style of painting is based on my own perception, and it is predominantly inspired by Indian Folk specially Madhubani (Mithila) Art, Abstract and contemporary Art. I work in all mediums like Acrylic, Oil & water color.
