Masarratfatima Sulaimani is an experimental artist, specializing in creating the unique art of Hand-cut Paper. She solemnly believes that human forms and emotions are best depicted through the art form while exploring the various mediums along with inter- play of light and shadows. This elevates the art to an all-different level. Inspired by Nature and the Islamic Art, these layered paper patterns display still life and a story in a snapshot. Papermaking from plants is yet another medium that Masarratfatima is passionate about.
She has also been experimenting with acrylic paintings, Landscape, Portraits, Graphic Art, Package Designs etc. She enjoys sharing her passion with students as an Art Instructor at various Art Centers.

Her creations are not merely a display of an image as she strives to bring out the emotions from still life and create a story. She has successfully showcased her works at various venues , such as Shanghai International Bienalle, Sikka Art Fair’Dubai , Art on Creek 2021 by Dubai Culture, World Art Dubai, Akaas Visual Art etc.
Her distinct style in art has been enthralling viewers worldwide. She was awared 6 months residency for artist in residence programme with Alqasimi foundation RAK. She was among the top 10 artists in Rove Emerging Artist 2020, as well as, finalist at global Art Awards. She was commissioned to create art installation for World Art Dubai.

She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Visual Arts from the most prestigious Maharaja Sayajirao University, Vadodara, India.
